Trulia Films
Concept / Writing
This may have been the most stressful job I've ever done, but it's also my best work. The idea was that these two people were hanging out and just playing silly word games, as friends do. The deeper idea is that you need to know yourself before you can find the house of your dreams. I don't actually condone playing the MASH game to determine your real estate goals, but we needed this to be entertaining. It was nice because they really wanted the talent and the writing to shine, and not market Trulia in an obvious way. So all of the scripts had a very "light touch" with branding. I wish I could take 100% of the credit for this work, but Max Greenfield (New Girl) and Leslie Grossman (What I Like About You) were so amazingly funny and had such great chemistry; and the hugely talented director, Richie Keen (It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia) got so much work done in such a short day; and Jim Stanger at Channel Z just killed it in edit. (So I'll only take 90% of the credit.)
